Who set up your account

A parent or guardian set up your Duxie account and said yes to Duxie looking after your study information so it can help you learn. We’re telling you that because it’s your information, and you should know what happens to it.

What we keep

We keep the things you need for studying:

• your first name, year level, and school,
• the work you do here — your notes, flashcards, practice answers, essays, and your chats with Dux (the study helper),
• how you’re going with each topic.

What we do with it

We use it for one thing: to help you learn. That’s it.

• We don’t sell your information to anyone.
• We don’t show you ads.
• Your private writing is just for you — your essays, chats with Dux, and practice answers are never shown to other students.
• Sometimes, study helpers made from your notes — like flashcards — get shared with classmates to help them study too, but never with your name on them.

About Dux, the AI helper

When Dux helps you with a question, your work is sent to a smart computer system to write you an answer. We don’t send your name, your email, or your school with it — just the schoolwork. And your work is never used to teach the AI. It just helps you, right then.

Your information stays in Australia

The place we keep your information is in Australia. (When Dux helps, that one step happens overseas, but without your name attached.)

You're in control

• You or your parent can ask to see everything we keep about you.
• You or your parent can ask us to fix anything that’s wrong.
• Your parent can ask us to delete your account and everything in it.
